Neumann M 50 V Set is a condenser microphone system designed for orchestral and critical recording environments. It enables pressure transducer recording for engineers and studios, supporting main microphone array workflows. This makes it ideal for classical recording scenarios where spatial accuracy is critical.
The microphone uses a small diaphragm capsule mounted flush in an acrylic sphere to achieve diffuse field response characteristics. It operates with a classic tube circuit and output transformer based on historical designs. The system is powered by an external supply that adapts automatically to local mains voltage.
